But we started raising money for a March of Dimes walk in celebration of Porter’s 1st birthday and to help support the efforts that go towards premature births. My wife was checking out the March of Dimes website and discovered that our local chapter was having a fundraising walk only 5 days before Porter’s first birthday (April 15). She thought that maybe it would be a fun way to celebrate Porter’s first year while enjoying the spring weather and raising money for a great cause.
